ADVANCED PROCEDURAL METAL SHADER
The Advanced Metal shader (Multi-Metal Generator) is an extremely versatile procedural metal shader (.sbsar) created in Substance designer. I created 200 parameters for user control and it can be used for almost any metal prop, and can create any style/type of metal from sci-fi to old and rusted. Everything in the images was textured using only the shader.
The user can input a custom alpha or 3D prop or use the presets included.
Some of the controls are as follows (full list of controls at the bottom of the page):
-Rust weathering
-Moss
-Dirt
-Paint weathering
-Metal presets (gold, steel, silver etc)
-Custom decal system for adding graffiti, stickers etc
-Custom metal height maps for corrugated metal, dented metal, diamond grid metal etc
-Different modes depending on the asset type(metal sheet, metal object, etc)
-Complete control over every colour(metal, paint, rust, dirt, moss)

- Maps can be exported at any resolution up to 8K.
